How we process and protect your personal data. We comply with the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and Spanish law LOPDGDD 3/2018.

The owner hereby informs you of its Privacy Policy regarding the processing and protection of the personal data of users and clients that may be collected while browsing or when contacting through the website cartagenahomes.es.

You do not need to provide any personal data to browse the website. You provide your personal data when:

  • You fill in the contact form or the property enquiry form.
  • You contact the agency by email, phone or WhatsApp.

The information you provide through the forms may include personal data such as your name and surname, phone number, email address and details about the property or area you are interested in. The data is processed for the following purposes:

  • To deal with and answer your enquiries, valuation requests and requests for information about properties.
  • To manage the relationship with you as a potential buyer or seller, including preparing valuations and quotations.
  • To provide the property brokerage services requested.

The owner does not carry out profiling or take automated decisions with legal effects, nor does it use your data to send you commercial communications unrelated to your request without your prior consent.

The legal basis for processing your data is:

  • The data subject's consent, given when you submit the forms and accept this Privacy Policy by ticking the relevant box.
  • The application of pre-contractual measures or the performance of a contract to which you are a party, when you request a valuation or brokerage service.
  • Compliance with legal obligations applicable to the owner.

The categories of personal data processed by the owner are identification and contact data. No special categories of data are processed.

The personal data provided will be kept for as long as the relationship with you continues and you do not request its erasure, and, where applicable, for the periods legally required to address possible liabilities. Inactive records are reviewed and deleted periodically.

Your data will not be shared with third parties except where legally required. To provide the service, the owner relies on suppliers acting as data processors, with access to the data solely in order to provide their service and with the appropriate contractual safeguards:

  • Web hosting and email provider: STRATO AG (Germany, European Union), where the website and the form data are hosted. The servers are located in the European Union.

No international data transfers outside the European Economic Area are made. Should third-party services be added in future (web analytics tools, for example), this policy will be updated and your consent will be sought where appropriate through the cookie notice.

  • Request restriction of its processing.

  • Request portability of your data.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), if you believe the processing breaches the regulations.
