Murcia is the Region's largest city, and it varies greatly depending on where you look. The centre, around the Cathedral and Gran Vía, has classic spacious flats; the north has recent blocks with pools and parking; and the outlying districts have houses with gardens.
It is a university city full of shops, with the Segura and its gardens running through it and the El Valle and Carrascoy hills to the south, right by the outlying districts.
